After Band Camp there are two practices each week on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the marching season. Attendance is required unless other arrangments have been made.

Philosophy of Band Camp "Success comes to those who work for it!" This is the philosophy of the entire Porter Ridge Band Program. All students are required to be at all camps. Attendance is mandatory and any individual problems should have been worked out before the dates of camp with both directors. Band Camp is where 90% of the work for the marching season is accomplished. It is very intensive, but as we work toward a common goal, it becomes enjoyable and students are rewarded for their efforts.

LeadershipStudent leaders of the band help us to keep order and discipline within the ranks. these leaders are gien the responsibility of reinforcing th econcepts taught to the students over the course of the season. These are our students leaders for this year:

Michael Morhard - Saxophone/Horn
